Menopausal hot flush product, Grace, won it's first competition at the AXA Health Tech & You Awards 2018. Winner of the Peri-menopause category, Director Peter Astbury was presented with the prize at London's Royal College of General Practitioners after the multi-stage international competition.
The wearable device, which aims to detect and counter menopausal hot flushes using sensors and automated cooling, was chosen as a finalist following Astbury's pitch at Barclays Eagle Labs. Prototypes were presented behind closed doors at a media showcase and that evening the awards were handed out at a gala ceremony by Belinda Munro, CTO of AXA PPP and Lara Lewington, presenter of the BBC's technology show, Click.
